7. Legal warranty and liability
7.1 All products sold on the Website are covered by the Legal Warranty of Conformity as provided by articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code (Legal Warranty).
If you make a purchase as a "consumer," you benefit from the legal warranty of conformity to which the seller is required by law for every item sold ("Legal Warranty"). The Legal Warranty guarantees the product against defects in conformity with the sales contract.
7.2 The customer is required to report the defect of conformity to Metajewels srl by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt within the mandatory period of two months from the date of discovering the defect. Metajewels srl is responsible when the defect of conformity occurs within two years from the delivery.
7.3 The legal warranty of conformity applies only to defects not resulting from the normal use of the product. Repaired, modified, or otherwise altered products are excluded from the legal warranty. Also excluded from the scope of the legal warranty are any malfunctions or defects of another kind resulting from accidental events or the responsibility of the Registered Customer, or from the use of the product not in accordance with its intended purpose and/or as specified in the technical documentation attached to the product, if available, or in the instructions for use related to the same.
In no case Metajewels srl can be held responsible for the non-compliance with any of the obligations arising from the contracts subject to these General Conditions in the event that the non-compliance is caused by fortuitous events and/or force majeure, including, purely by way of example, natural disasters, terrorist acts, network malfunctions, and/or blackouts.
